I purchased a Sam's Club 1 year membership for the first time through Stack Social because they offered a big discount. Purchasing and activating my membership was easy as can be everything was done online. I was able to go into my local Sam's club right after I finished activation and setting up my Sam's club account. I went in to pick up my physical membership card, but I was told by a store associate that they no longer give out physical cards that everything is through the Sam's Club App. I am happy with the whole process you just have to sign up for Auto-Renew of your membership dues by putting down a payment method. You have the ability cancel so there is no obligation to renew after your 1 year is up.

Good price for an annual membership, had a number of issues trying to register since I had an old membership. The solution was to use a different browser to get new membership number. Stack Social support provided a link I could copy to use on another browser.

This was a fantastic deal, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Set up was a bit confusing. I previously had a membership, but it had been inactive for well over the amount of time specified in the purchase agreement. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to create an entirely new Sam's account to activate it. There was no mention of this in the set-up instructions, and figuring it out ate up a decent amount of my time. No big deal in the long run, but it did make the set up a bit confusing. I wish that had been spelled out in the set-up instructions. Hopefully my writing this will make things easier for someone else in the future.

Even with the Plus upgrade, I have made good progress towards getting my membership to pay for itself in less than two weeks and that is just with having items shipped. Beware the whole new account limitation as it may erase your purchase history if you choose to try using it for a membership renewal.
